For me wet dreams came after long periods without ejaculation. I have not had long periods without ejaculation since marriage.

That is how I figured it was. I was surprised he had one the next morning, after having ejaculated that night. Beachdreamer helped me understand how that could be possible.

Ejaculating twice in one night isn't easy for me even if I am trying.

Ejaculating more times than once per day is quite doable. It takes hard work but can be done. Often it just takes the right inspiration.

I have had only few wet dreams that I can remember. The most traumatic one being on my mission (another story). Because I have been a chronic masturbator, I have never gone long periods without ejaculation, so I don't know what caused them. Like was mentioned, I woke up as I was about to ejaculate and could not stop it at all. Since the vast majority of my dreams are very weird, I don't think I have had a normal sex dream, hence no wet dream from that.

Thanks for the response, likenatural. It doesn't bother me. I was just intrigued and interested in what might have prompted it.

Been there, done that. Wet dreams were common before marriage, more rare after. I have been married a long time now, and they seem to be getting rarer with age. I have had them the night after intercourse and figured that I wasn't all emptied out yet. Often this has been when I have had a few days with no sex, and when had sex and turned things back on. I guess there was more there than one trip could deliver.

I remember being naive enough to think that I wouldn't have wet dreams after marriage because of all the sex I'd be getting. But I've also noticed diminished frequency as I get older, even with infrequent sex. Truth be told, I miss those dreams. The fantasies that you might be able to role-play with your spouse pale in comparison to what you can get away with in dreams. For years I've wished to learn how to practice lucid dreaming but have not yet exercised the discipline to really master it.

I've only had one wet dream since marriage, about fifteen years ago. I still have sex dreams including extensive intercourse but I don't ejaculate. It's rather frustrating to get so turned on in a dream but not climax.
