True, but it is still the subconscious mind that directs the show.

At the risk of beating a dead horse, I will chime in here again. There are lots of mentions of the DREAM part of wet dreams and I want to weigh in again to say that there may or may not be a dream. When a man, especially a young man at sexual maturity who is not masturbating regularly & coursing with testosterone, the normal tossing & turning in deep sleep is enough to trigger a nocturnal emission. I chime in because, for women who haven't experienced it, you may imagine your son as young perverts when you see evidence of this. Or, newly married women who are not having sex shouldn't be shocked when their husbands are orgasming in their sleep when no other outlet exists. Those who refrain from masturbation & other sexual outlets are likely to have the most frequent nocturnal emissions. It's really weird as young man to wake up soaked with semen and not know what has just happened. It's also distressing to be completely free from masturbation, pornography use and remember a vivid sex dream in light of the teachings about the natural man, guarding against impure thoughts and sexual sin being akin to murder. Again I wish somewhere in the fine print of the CHOI there were a spot that recommends quick, porn-free masturbation to prevent insomnia and nocturnal emission-related anxiety & guilt in some cases. I think more members are leaning this way. Anyway, a dream is often not involved.

I would usually wake up in the middle of the orgasm. It was horrible as a teenager and the early part of my mission because I didn't fully understand what was going on and felt super guilty about having them. Sometimes I would have a very sexual dream (like having sex with an entire cartoon village), and other times they would be normal dreams with just a simple touch in the end. Sometimes I would even wake up holding my crotch.

The oddest sex dreams I ever had were as a virgin, having a wet dream. My innocent brain didn’t have any knowledge of what sex was actually like (just theory, no practice), so it came up with some pretty weird stuff.

I generally wake up in the middle of the climax of wet dreams. As a youth, I always felt very embarrassed. Neither of my parents ever talked to me about them, as I generally “caught” all the semen in my underwear and did my own laundry.

As an adult, they’re still somewhat embarrassing, but I’m not quite sure why.

I always really enjoyed wet dreams. They’d always wake me up and it felt wonderful. I’ve only had one since I’ve been married.

I don't have them often (rarely any more), but I remember my first one and I'm still pissed about it.

the short story is I was going to have sex with a sexy older woman, we started and I stopped myself because it was wrong. I had morality in my flipping DREAM, so I tried to stop, I failed, but it completely diminished the feeling. I woke up almost immediately

Oh well.

Mine stopped when I got married, too.
