When I used to ride frequently, occasionally I would finish and notice a distinct "numbness" in my genitals, almost like when your leg falls asleep and then you feel the tingles as it "wakes up". I mentioned it to my buddy, who is a bike cop and he said it is due to the nerve/blood vessels in your crotch being impinged while you ride that actually shuts off the flow to the penis and the tingle afterward is exactly that "falling asleep" phenomena. they make a bike seat with a spit seat that avoids the problem. Curiously, the tingle was kind or arousing the first time, but realizing it was due to potential damage, I avoided it thereafter.

That's probably what it is. I'll have to find one of those seats.
