What does your name represent?

Postby Swish » Fri Oct 24, 2014 12:19 am

Just curious why everyone chose the names they did. Some are a little more self explanatory than others (high drive Mormon) but others I definitely am curious to understand.

I chose Swish simply because I like basketball. Your turn!

Mine is an imaginary place to which one might journey while listening to KANSAS'S first album.

All we are is dust in the wind.... I love Kansas.

Mine is from the emotional state I was in when I signed up many years ago. I am in a much better place now.

I like the way you avatar pairs so well with your screenname, JGB.

I took my screenname from an old Marty Robbins song.

A sad song Mr Shorty
There in his blue eyes was sadness.
That comes from the need of a friend.
And though he tried, he still couldn't hide
The lonliness there deep within

I am here visiting my Dad who turned 83 yesterday.
He sometimes calls me _______ Love
He has always poured great affection on me.
He tells me often how proud he is of me.
Dads hold great influence in the lives of their sons and daughters!

Love , an action verb, will change the world one heart at a time.

J guitars or jgtrs for short. Why J? I dk. Just guitars, I guess. Many of my names used on forums, talkers, or sites over the years have been preceded by very little thought. Just something that I happened to think of at the time. As I've said about other names that have stuck, I wish I'd known I was going to spend so much time on here... I woulda thunk up a better name. Heh

ILMW = I Love My Wife. I chose this name to remind myself what discussion about sexuality should stay focused on for me, enhancing my relationship with my wife. I stray from that at times, but try to keep my marital relationship at the center of sex.

Why keep that label for yourself? I've read your posts. You don't come across as a black sheep to me.
